The Crack Pipes, Enduro, Me And The Devil, and The Flesh Lights at Emo's Jr. | Events | A.V. Austin

The Crack Pipes, Enduro, Me And The Devil, and The Flesh Lights at Emo's Jr. | Events | A.V. Austin: "In the ’90s, few bands stirred the molten pot of black-tar blooze and muddy Delta-fied punk like Enduro, whose riotous, yelping fuzz would have made Jon Spencer jealous. The group splintered around the turn of the millennium, donating its severed rhythm section to horn-blowing soul brothers The Crack Pipes, but recently reunited to record songs for the independent “youth in revolt” film, Altamont Now. Those good/bad vibes must have lasted, because Enduro returns here for another rip through the Emo’s front room it used to dominate, followed by an always-welcome blast of tent revival rhythm-and-blues from Rev. Ray Pride and the gang."
